Medical Practice History Dr.Rada Prelevic has graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (GP) in 1980 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia. After has had practicing Western medicine as GP for 5 years, she went back to University of Belgrade for a three year Specialization at the Institute for Occupational Medicine, Toxicology and Radiology Protection, and graduated as a Specialist in Medicine at Work in 1989. Upon graduation she continued to work at the Government Medical Centre in Belgrade. At the same time, while working, she took her three years Postgraduate Course in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture under supervision of Academic Prof. Dr Antonije Skokljev and team of expert doctors in TCM - all under umbrella of European Centre for Peace and Development (ECPD), established by United Nations. As a part of that program she also went to Beijing at the International Academy for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, for her further education and she holds Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from ECPD and as well Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, from 1990. As a medical doctor and qualified practitioner of Chinese Traditional Medicine, she also holds many professional memberships; Member of International Society for Immunology and Thymus Research (Germany), Member of BCMA British Complementary Medical Association, Member of CMIR Chinese Medical Institute and Register London (PM) - Professional Medical Membership. Now she practices Integrated Medicine - combining her conventional western medical knowledge with TCM. This holistic approach to solving medical conditions, taking best of both medicine worlds to uniquely treat the root conditions, is in her opinion, the best way and to achieving a lasting health. |
